Yeaaaa! this is my first post for the year 2016! and i am really excited about it cause its emphatic, instructive and its from the supreme book of wisdom.  I stumbled on this topic and was  reluctant to publish it, up until this moment. The beauty of this post(RECOMMENDATIONS ON BEING A GOOD HUSBAND AND A GOOD FATHER), is that it has nothing to do with man’s knowledge or wisdom, but solely the wisdom of God, who is the sole patent owner of marriage and family, which a father and a husband is a key actor in. like i’ll always say, whether you are a parent, guardian, aspiring parent, widow, widower, bachelor, spinster etc. Take out time to read this.

1 Corinthians 7:1-40 – Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: [It is] good for a man not to touch a woman.

James 1:19-20 – Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

Proverbs 5:18-19 – Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

Ephesians 4:26 – Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Romans 12:9-21 – [Let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

1 Timothy 3:2 – A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

Matthew 19:5 – And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

1 Peter 3:7 – Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Romans 12:14-21 – Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Ephesians 4:31 – Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Titus 1:5-9 – For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:

Ephesians 6:4 – And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Matthew 5:32 – But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

1 Corinthians 6:18 – Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

Matthew 5:22 – But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Genesis 1:27 – So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Ephesians 4:27 – Neither give place to the devil.

1 Corinthians 11:1-34 – Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ.

Titus 2:3-4 – The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.‎
